pharisees taught of resurection but sadducees taught of no afterlife, Jesus' tomb was empty and he was seen as a physical form after death, he ascended to heaven but we are not sure whether this was in his physical or spiritual body

what questions do resurection bring about?
do we read bible passages metaphorically or literally? was Jesus' resurection unique to him? will resurection take place immediatly after death? does it count if people only do good acts to get in to heaven? will we need some sort of body?

Tent is replaced by a more solid structure, in the afterlife we have a more substantial eternal house rather than an impermanent body, Jesus had a different body as his followers didnt recognise him straight away

resurection involves a bodily life, with the body being "glorified", and can no longer be corrupted, reserected person is the same person as the one that died, life after death is a miracle given by God
