What are the strengths and weaknesses of Quantitative Data?
Strengths; Easy to analyse - Small numerical data = less time consuming, Reliable - More participants = more reliable. Weaknesses; Oversimplifies human experience - participants can't explain = less valid, Lacks validity - It hasn't been expanded.

What are the strengths and weaknesses of Qualitative Data?
Strengths; Reveals meaning - Participants explain their answers = more valid, Provides rich detail = more valid. Weaknesses; Can't detect patterns - wordy data = less reliable, Investigator bias - investigator influences = less valid.

Strengths; Easy to collect. Weaknesses; Gives us very little information.

Strengths; Useful when data can be put in order. Weaknesses; Units of measurement are not equal.
