Global Culture
Due to the development of social and economic relationships, on a global scale, we are now becoming part of one embracing culture. EG - We all drive the same cars, eat the same food and watch the same TV

Cultural diversity
Cultural differences within a society. Existence of a subculture leads to cultural diversity

Multi- culturalism
Different cultures existing side by side, where each group has the right to preserve their culture heritage

Cultural hybridity
A hybrid is a cross between of merging of two things. When cultures merge it is referred to as cultural hybridity

Status
Refers to a persons social position in society, or the ranking of individuals which is determined by the respect attached to their position by other members of society . Can be achieved or ascribed

Roles
Patterns of behaviour, which are expected of a person or group, relating to their position in society

Roles models
People who display patterns of behaviours which others copy and model their behaviour on.
