If your peers get involved in sport, then you will want to join them. However if they are not in favour of the sport, it is likely you will go along with these views too.

They provide support and would be willing to give financial help, many parents are also role models for their children as they may follow the sporting tradition. However, they may not be able to support you or have bad experience of the sport.

There are a lot of different opportunities for the different genders. Although there are sometimes stereotypes made and judgmental comments.

What are the positives and negatives of your ethnicity in sport?
You could meet new people and learn more about different cultures. However, in some cultures women are not encouraged to take part in P.E and may be required to wear extra clothing.
