Transnational Companies (TNCs)

Primary Sector, Secondary Sector, Tertiary Sectore, Quaternary sector

What is the Primary sector?
Collects raw material from the land and sea e.g Farming, Forestry, Mining, Fisherman

Manufactures primary materials into finished products e.g. Cheese Factory, Car Manufactoring

provides services to businesses and to people e.g. Doctor, Clothes Shop, Teacher

uses high technology to provide inforamtion and expertise. Research and development are an important part of the sector e.g. Scientist, Aerospace engineer, computer programmer

The process where by a significant increase in ecomonic growth can lead to even more growth as more money circulates in the economy

measn they are dependent on one another in some way

It is a geographical region that is designed to export goods and provide employment

The world bank is an international financial institution that provides loans to developing countries

A line devised in 1980 that seperated the rich north and the poor south

Life expetancy (social), Education attainment - how many children go to school (social) an GDP per capita (value of goods and services produced by a country in a year (economic))
