How does the body gain heat in cold conditions?
Respiration in cells releases some energy as heat, shivering generates heat, less blood flows near skin surface (vasoconstriction), exercise generates heat because muscles need to respire more to contract, wearing more clothes insulates the body.

How does the body lose heat in hot conditions?
More blood flows near the skins surface to give off heat (Vasodilation), more sweating the water evaporates taking heat from the skin, wearing fewer clothes.

What is the core temperature for humans?
37 degrees C
