Contract Law - Implied Terms - Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982

Part II SGSA 1982 applies to contracts for the supply of services. These implied terms apply where one party (the supplier) has agreed to carry out any service (e.g. repairing, building, dry cleaning, entertaining, etc.).

These implied terms also apply to contracts for hire and sale of goods where there is an undertaking by the seller that he will provide both a service and goods.

These terms are not implied into contracts of employment or apprenticeship.
