1939 - The Nazi Soviet Pact
Signed between Russia and Germany. Meant they wouldn't attack each other for 10 years and each side would share half of Poland. in reality bought both sides time to prepare for future war with each other.

After Hitler tried too take over but Mussolini (an ally of Austria) forced him to back down.

Singed between Germany and Italy freeing Hitler to try and conquer Austria again.

The Austrian Nazi's rioted, demanding Anschluss.

Hitler invades fearing he would lose and all political opponents of the Nazis are arrested 20,000 people !

Controlled by Nazi army - 99.75% vote for Anschluss

Mussolini invades Abyssinia, leagues sanctions were not harsh enough
