Comprehension Test 9

The Polynesian Triangle

The Polynesian Triangle consists of over ten countries from New Zealand to Hawaii. It's located in Oceania and some of the islands are a little bit distant to USA, as they share their relationship to this huge country.

The largest island is the Federated States of Micronesia, with hordes of islands in this island - over thousand islands! The main island is Bora Bora, which is in French Polynesia, the second largest island in the Polynesian triangle.

Early Polynesians had no compasses but they were wiser ; they used the sun and stars to help them go when the sky is clear. The main religion is Christianity but Buddhism is also found in Guam and Nauru. The Chukkese people from Micronesia came from Southeast Asia before they were Europeans.
