Record events leading up to negative thoughts to identify triggers and thought process. Also helps them rationalize their thoughts and be less negative

Identifying negative thought patterns and replacing them with constructive thoughts. It's trying new ways of reacting / behaving.

Student walks into common room to group of friends, everyone goes quiet. Natural reaction is thinking everyone hates them and feels like crying / running away. Think no, maybe... with rational responses.

Activation technique to get clients to have more positive behavior. Client arranges a treat/ pleasant activity every day.
