Children learn to know that people can hold a belief that isn't representative of reality and their behaviour is guided by this. e.g. anne takes ball out of Sally's basket and puts it in her box, where will sally find it? 3yrs fail 4/5 pass.

Mindblindness (Simon Baron-Cohen, 1995) as they Lack ToM and SAM or late developing it, as they don't pass false belief task as early as most children and find it difficult to imitate and attribute mental states to others (Steele et al., 2003)
