A persistent and irrational fear of a specific stimulus. e.g. flying

A persistent and irrational fear of social situations in which a person may be exposed to unfamiliar people, or the scrutiny of others.

A persistent and irrational fear of being in a public place where escape may be difficult or where it may be difficult to receive help for a panic attack.
