What is the Binomal System and why is it important?
This system is important as it helps scientists to accurately identify individual species. Cladistics is another way to classify organisms.
1 of 12
Name the 5 kingdoms
Prokaryotes, Fungi, Plants, Animals, and Protoctists.
2 of 12
Living things can be ranked. For example they can be ranked by Phylum or family. Name 4 other ways.
Class, order, Genus and species.
3 of 12
What are the features of vertebrates (how they reproduce, absorb oxygen and body temp)
They reproduce by external fertilisation. Bony fish absorb oxygen oxygen from their gills and their body temp depends on surroundings.
4 of 12
What are the features of Amphibians?
They absorb oxygen through lungs or moist skin. Body temp depends on surroundings and they reproduce by external fertilisation.
5 of 12
What are the features of Reptiles?
They have Lungs to respire. Body temp depends on surroundings. Reproduce by Internal fertilisation
6 of 12
What are the features of Birds?
They have lungs to respire. They can keep their body temp up because of their feathers. They reproduce by internal fertilisation.
7 of 12
What are the features of Mammals?
They have lungs to respire, they can keep their body temp up thanks to their fur. They reproduce by internal fertilisation.

Invertebrates - arthropods are animals without backbones. What are their features?
Hard exoskeleton, segmented body and jointed legs. Other invertebrate groups however don't have jointed legs.
9 of 12
What are the features of Annelids?

10 of 12
What are the features of Nematodes?
