its quite good actually (:

Ceire Kinsella

Report

Its ok... but could be better and more specific... with better multiple choice answers, that were worded better

radhika

Report

it's a good starting point! :D

Reisha

Report

wow yay that was good :] 5 stars

Izzie Sims

Report

Yh, could have been worded a lot better and some of the answers were kind of random and confusing. But otherwise its cool :)

Alice

Report

It a good quiz, some answer a bit random but other than that it was cool.

VicC

Report

I thought it was really good. Plus, I didn't actually know that changing from solid to gas was called sublimation, so I've picked up a bit of info, thanks :)

Ryan McMahon

Report

i think it was oki but i did not get the question 'An Ion is a positively charged atom.' but i still got it right:)

Lucy

Report

I swear liquid atoms touch but gases dont....they slide over each other right? Good quiz as I now have to check my textbook!

Helena

Report

Quite good but some questions (like question 6) were a bit ambiguous. Still- a useful revision resource!

Jaaaaasss

Report

liquid atoms touch.

alice richards

Report

no technically nothing touches as the electron atoms repel (but that's really Physics)

rihab

Report

more questions would be good

Josh Hudson

Report

yes that was good

Emily

Report

That was good :D but yeah, a few more questions would have been good (Y).

A good start to revising for my Chemistry C7 exam! :O

iturhs

Report

the test was alright some of the ans were confusing
But nice help! :)

E. Frostydino

Because Hydrogen needs 3 moe oxygens so you add 2+1 Oxygens and there you have it!

Lol yeah some random answers but they made me laugh! Thanks for this ***

Yavin Rambojun

too easy, make it harder please

Es un concurso terrible porque las preguntas son muy facil. Pienso que el concurso es para guagas. Todavia, lo haceria si podria ganar un million euros. No pienso esta sitio web esta acceptable para gente listo como yo.

Mrs P Ellis

It's a terrible quiz because the questions are very easy. I think that the quiz is for children. Still, I would do it if I could win a million euros. I don't think this web site is acceptable for clever people like me.

Really good quiz

hydrogen is a diatomic molecule so as an element it has 2 electrons. liquid atoms sometimes touch and some of the questions are a bit confusing - but not too bad!

im flopping my module exams are in 2 weeks i need to revise hard :(

it was on ok quiz. didn't really help me. 3/5 stars

Good Quiz :) really helped.

Hydrogen bonds in liquids are between two liquid atoms so wouldn't that be considered "touching"?

steph ashby

Report

Really helpful, could see weak areas :)

hehe lol :) good answers

Qu 4, 7, 8 are too ambiguous

water is not called H20- it is the Formula  and hydrogen does not fill oxygen- it is the electrons that 'fill' but not scientific

on ion is not a charged ATom, an ion is never an atom- an  ion  is a charged species formed when an atom gains or loses electrons

liquid atoms touch or define touch - interact repel bounce off each other etc- just not in fixed positions-

Sarah Aspland

Report

liquid atoms sometimes touch, and sometimes don't, theyre not like gases that float around everywhere, but are less ordered and fixed than solids, therefore that question is slightly ambigous!

Missy

Report

hmm i think i need to do some more revising but a good start :S

Myst3riousG1rl

Report

yeh it was good

Mo .

Report

Well for starters Hydrogen atoms are just Protons - they don't have electrons so Q3. is wrong.
And Liquid particles can touch so Q7 is also wrong

Myst3riousG1rl

Report

i got 100% but it was sort of a guess because of the questions being a bit :/ still good tho :)

Harry Bevans

Report

this was jolly great

Chloe Butcher

Report

It was really gud!!! I new most of the answers but I didn't know that changing from solid to gas was called sublimation, so now if it pops up in my exam ill know the answer!!!! :P <3

josh harrison

good 100%

Yeah some of the answers are wrong and ambiguous. For example Hydrogen is electron-deficient in some senses. Also a covalent bond? you didn't specify which one, dative-covalent or...? Oh finally the water question, because you need two hydrogen atoms to fill up 1 oxygen. That's wrong. As water is a non-linear molecule with two bonding pairs of electrons and two lone pairs of electrons and as lone pairs of electrons repel each other more than bonding pairs it forms a bent molecule with bond angles of 104.5degrees. Therefore as it has two lone pairs of electrons it doesn't necessarily mean two hydrogen atoms 'fill' it up. Thanks anyway, hope this helps :)

Aimee

Report

Thanks :D This helped me, even though it doesn't cover all of the topics, at least I know where to start!
