A series of organic compounds that have similar chemical properties, a gradual change in physical properties and they have the same general formula.

The substance that dissolves in a liquid to form a solution.

Describe a substance that will dissolve.

Describes a substance that will not dissolve.

Electrolysis
The chemical decomposition produced by passing an electric current through an ionic substance that is molten or in a solution.

Different atomic forms of the same element, which have the same number of protons but a different number of neutrons.

Dynamic equilibrium
The forwards and reverse reaction are occurring at the same rate simultaneously maintaining a constant concentration.
