What is an atomic number?
The number of Protons in an atom of an element.

What is electric configuration?
The way in which electrons are arranged in the shells of an atom.

What is an Isotope?
They are atoms of an element which have the same number of Protons and Electrons but has a different number of neutrons.

What is Fractional Distillation?
Crude oil is separated using distillation into fractions.

An element is a substance made up of only 1 type of atom.

What is a compound?
A substance made when two or more elements are chemically bonded together.

2 or more elements or compounds which are together but aren't chemically joined together.

What is conservation of mass?
The total mass of the reactants. in a chemical reaction, is equal to the total mass of the product,

Separating a solid that doesn't dissolve in a liquid. (Uses filter paper/Sandy water experiment).

It is the sum of the Protons and Neutrons in an atom.

Seperating a solid that dissolves in a liquid.

An experiment to find out whether or not different substances have different solubilities.
