What were the strengths of this study?
Natural experiment so high ecological validity. Cameras set up discreetly so children didn’t know they were being watched and would act naturally. Very applicable to society; TV is watched all the time so info on its impact is useful to people.

What were the weaknesses of this study?
Not generalisable to other cultures because the island was very small and remote. Results are being subjectively analysed; some people disagree on what is pro-social and anti-social.
