What were the overall results?
Both boys and girls showed an increase in pro social behavior and children displayed almost twice as much pro social than anti social behaviour before and after TV.

What was the conclusion?
The intro of TV had no negative effects on their behavioutr - opposite. This contradicts most lab research.

What are the strengths of the study?
Larges sample of 160 - generalisable. Inter rater reliability found which makes it more reliable. High ecological validity.

What are the weaknesses of the study?
All pt's aged 3-8yrs- not generalisable. Didnt actually show certain tv programmes that contained agressions- viewing was different to mainland.
