What are contact forces? Give examples.
A force that can be exerted between two objects when they touch such as friction, air resistance, tension and normal contact force.
2 of 5
What are non-contact forces? Give examples.
A force that can be exerted between two objects that air physically separated such as gravtiy, electrostatic forces and magnetic.
3 of 5
What is the resultant force of an object?
A number of forces acting on an object shown as one arrow. For example if an object is pushed back at 10N, and forward at 50N, it will just be shown as going forward at 40N
