What is the function of a vacuole ?
It is a space in the cytoplasm of a plant that contains cell sap. It is important for keeping the cells rigid to support the plant.

They are found in all green parts of the plant because they contain chlorophyll. Chlorophyll absorbs light energy to make food by photosynthesis
