It is a selective semi permeable barrier, controlling what can and cannot go into the cell.

This makes up the interior of the cell. It holds the other organelles.

Controls gene expression. Mediates replicatopn of dna during the cell cycle.

Transports chemicals between and within cells.

Protein and lipid modification and sorting

Provides energy to the cells. Makes ATP through celluar respiration.
