1907 and Great Britain, France and Russia.

Why did the alliances cause the war?
Because Germany felt surrounded by the triple entente so they were scared. Also everyone promised to help each other out.

The wish to be important and powerful in the world.

Why did Kaiser's foreign aims cause the war?
Because it made Kaiser get involved in things like the Moroccan crisis, this made France and Britain very angry.

Why did the first Moroccan crisis in 1905-6?
France wanted to take over Morocco so the Kaiser went over to say they should be allowed to stay independant. France held a conference in Spain in 1606. Kaiser was forced to back down.
