R v Stone and Dobinson
Took in Stone's poorly sister. Sister was anorexic and needed medical help, yet they left her in bed. She was bedridden, and died in bed fithy and covered in sores. Guilty of manslaughter.

Latimer had a leather belt. He meant to hit one victim, and actually hit someone else in the process. This was transferred malice.
