Digoxin
Inhibits the Na/K pump meaning Na concentrations in the cell increase. This decreases the concentration gradient for Na entering in the Ca/Na pump. This increases the force of contraction as there is thus more Ca in the myocyte

Glycerol Trinitrate
Metabolised to NO which causes vasodilation by increasing cGMP levels inside the cell which activates protein kinase G. This mainly acts on veins and thus reduces preload.

ß Blockers (Bisoprolol)
Competitive antagonist at ß1 receptors and thus slows down the heart rate as noradrenaline cannot bind

Bind to ACE inhibiting it and preventing the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II. Thus reducing aldosterone release, vasoconstriction and cardiac hypertrophy

Loop Diuretic (Furosimide)
Binds to the Cl site in the Na/K/2Cl transporter in the thick ascending limb preventing Na entry and thus water loss

Thiazide Diuretic (Bendroflumethiazide)
Binds to the Na/Cl transport in the distal convoluted tubule preventing Na reabsorption

Statins (Atorvastatin & Simvastatin)
Inhibits HMG-CoA reductase preventing hepatic cholesterol formation increasing LDL Receptor expression and thus LDL uptake from tissues
