Hydrolysis
Chemical process in which water is used to break down a compound.
5 of 10
Glycosidic link
A type of covalent bond that allows carbohydrates to join to other molecules.
6 of 10
Monomer
A molecule that can bonded to other monomers that are the same, to form polymers.
