Intro, instrumental section, verse 1, verse 2, coda. Vocal line alternates between 4 different phrases in call-and-reponse pattern. Phrase 1, then Refrain 1, then Phrase 2, then Refrain 2.

Vocal melody pentatonic. Uses a low register of voice (vocal tenor clef). Mainly syllabic, alternates between one bar phrases in Gaelic and phrases that use vocables. Instruments play short motifs mostly based on vocal phrases.
