Give an example of an exothermic reaction?
Combustion
2 of 10
What is a neutrallistion reaction?
exothermic
3 of 10
What is a endothermic reaction ?
An endothermic reaction is one which takes in energy from the surrondings
4 of 10
What are reaction profiles ?
Reaction Profiles are diagrams that show the reaction energies of the reactants ancd products in a reaction and how the energy changes over the course of the reaction.
5 of 10
What do you have to do for this required practical?
You measure the amount of energy released by a chemical reaction (in soultion) by taking the temperature of the regengts , mixingthem in a polystyrene cup and measuring the temperature of the solution at the end of the reaction/
