What does concentration mean?
The amount of particles in that same space. As the concentration increases, it means the particles become more crowded.

The particles gain more kinetic energy and move around more quickly.

The number of successful collisions between reacting particles each second.

Each particle must have enough energy to react

The number of collisions per second increases as there are more particles likely to collide as there are more particles

The reactants have more kinetic energy so collisions are more energetic and frequent, so more likely to be successful

Forces particles closer together so increases collision frequency
