What is acid rain caused by?
Sulfur dioxide, oxides of nitrogen.

Nitrogen oxides mix with clouds, form SULFURIC ACID/NITRIC ACID, this then falls as acid rain.

A type of AIR POLLUTION, caused by SUNLIGHT acting on OXIDES OF NITROGEN.

It can stop your blood doing its proper job of carrying oxygen around the body.
