Sampling
:-) Large (10047) range of cultures (37) and genders. :-( Volunteer sample so only one type of person. Age bias (mean age 23). Different number of pps from each countries (55 Iran, 1500 USA) so culture bias.

:-) Quantitative- 4 point scale, mean actual age of marriage (28.2- male & 25.3-female), 37/37 males rated 'good looks' higher than females. :-( Qualitative- none

Ethics
:-) No deception so no harm (psychological or physical). Culturals differences were respected by changing the Nigerian wording to allow for more than one wife.
