Considers the ethical relationship between businesses and consumers, between business and their employees. It also considers the impact of globalization on the environment.

Unethical Business?
Businesses that are believed to be acting unethically may be publicised in the press, and pressure groups that oppose the activities of certain businesses are better organised, better financed, and so better able to attack such businesses.

Relationship between business and consumers
Consumers now influence business ethics, and have been instrumental in bringing about social change. Consumers expect businesses to demonstrate ethical responsibility in its widest sense- affecting the treatment of employees, the community.

Relationship between employee and employer
Businesses should not exploit their employees. There is much legislation to prevent this from happening (Health &Safety Act). In under-developed countries this doesn't happen- child labour e.g. Nike.

Profit or People?
It is common for businesses to put profit in front of the employees. Businesses in the UK are now using staff from a cheaper labour force e.g. India. Ted Synder believed that businesses should be socially concerned about their employees.

Whistleblowing
This is when employees discovers that the business they are working for does immoral or illegal actions.

Religious Views
Religious views are somewhat practical and the main ethical teachings come from the biblical teachings. People are told to treat others as they want to be treated. The prophet Amos, spoke about the unfair treatment of the poor by the rich.
