Respect for diversity, Tolerance, Rule of law, Equality of Opportunity, Representative Democracy and Personal Freedom all support community cohesion in the UK.

If you removed one of these values we would not have a society that functions effectively. To immigrants British Values can be an attractive prospect, perhaps in the country they are emigrating from they do not have ?
representative democracy or rule of law, this would make the UK an appealing place to move to.
