Sent to Parliament - called on the abolination of Bishops from the Church of England. Signed by 15,000 landowners. Rejected by HOL

Fall of Strafford?`
Arrested Novmber 1640, then put on trial in April 1641. As he wouldnt be found guilty in the Lords, Pym issued an act of attainder, which the London mobs pressured the lords to pass. He was beheded on the 12th infront of 100,000 people

Tne Propositions?
1641 - Pym set 10 propositions including a request sayig that the King commits his own businesss and the affairs of the Kingdom which parliament can confine in. Parliament chooses the Kings advisors; it was a defence.

The Grand Remonstrance?
1641 - Listed political and actions of Charles causing Commons to distrust him. Demanded Parliament chooses the Kings ministers, parli can remove his ministers, invesitgation into the Catholic side of the COE.

Uprising of 1641?
Led by Rory O'Moore, planned October 23 with attacks on Dublin. Plans got leaked by Owen O'Connolly. Carired on in North - 120,000 were slaughtered, 30% of Ulsterplanters lost their lives - 10% of Ireland. Deaths blamed on Charles.
