what does the pre frontal cortex do?
impulse inhibition, planning and reasoning

centre of emotions and motivation. Takes information from the thalamus and perceives it as a threat or not if its damaged things that are threatening wont produce fear response

Corpus callosum
connects the left and right hempshpheres together lack of the corpus callosum could lead to more reckless behaviour

the hypothalamus what does it do?
maintains regulation of temperature linked to aggressive behaviour in males via production of testosterone

the mid brain what does it do?
links amygdala with hypothalamus with pre frontal cortex co ordinates and integrates behavioural responses to perceived stressors such as threat
