symptoms of bowel cancer
blood in feces, change in bowel habit, abdominal pain, fatigue, lose in weight. pain in the anus, feces look mucusy

diagnosis- colonoscopy
examine large bowel will be given laxatives to empty the bowel. Give sedative to relax the patient. Small camera relays the images on a monitor it can take up to one hour

diagnosis- sigmoidoscopy
it is a long thin tube attached with a camera and light. it takes images and collects a small tissue samples. will empty lower bowel and only takes a few mins

invloves palcing the barium fluid up the rectum so then the bowel is able to show up on the x-ray
