What are the two sub-systems which the nervous system is divided into?
Central nervous system (CNS) and Peripheral nervous system (PNS)

It governs vital functions such as breathing, heart rate and digestion

What are the functions of the SNS?
It controls muscle movement and receives information from sensory receptors

The sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system
