Increased oxygen intake, slows down digestive system, adrenal gland produces adrenalin, glucose sent to the muscles for respiration.

Adrenalin maintains the high level of activation in the sympathetic nervous system. It makes ACTH be released from the pituitary gland.

ACTH stimulates the adrenal glands to release corticosteroids.

Corticosteroids changes blood sugar levels, increase blood pressure, increase the reaction to injuries.
