What is the CNS?
CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM - brain and spinal cord , it is the origin of all complex commands and decisions .

What is the PNS?
PERIPHERAL NERVOUS SYSTEM - sends information to the CNS from the outside world and from the CNS to muscles and glands.

What is the SNS?
SOMATIC NERVOUS SYSTEM - part of the PNS , transmits information to the CNS and it recieves information from the CNS to control voluntary muscle movement. Connects the CNS to the senses

What is the ANS?
AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM - other divison of the PNS , transmits information to and from the CNS , operates involuntarily (autonomic). Divided into 2 branches
