What is wilting?
Cells lose their turgidity because the rate of water loss is higher than water intake in the rates so water is not pushing against cell walls. also lowers transpiration rate because leaf is curled up

How do plants try to lose as little water as possible?
Curl up leaves, waxy cuticle stops water loss, stomata open and close by guard cells and and are on the underside
