a group of cells which are sensitive to a stimulus

what is a stimulus?
light, sound, touch, pressure, pain, chemical or a change in position or temp

which order does motor, sensory and relay neurone go in?
sensory, relay, motor

what does the sensory neurone do?
the sensory neurone signal as electrical impulses from the receptors in the sense organs to the central nervous system

what does the relay neurone do?
the nerve cells that carry sensory neurone to the motor neurones

what does the motot neurone do?
the nerve cell that carrys signals from the central nervous system to the effector muscle or gland
