Biology - investigation of animal behaviour

?
How can you investigate animal behaviour?
You can use choice chambers to identify behaviour in insects, such as woodlice
1 of 6
What conditions can be controlled and/or changed?
Light intensity, humidity, dampness etc
2 of 6
How would a choice chamber show us the behaviour of insects?
it shows us how in different conditions they respond differently, and what condition they feel most comfortable in
3 of 6
What would be the place where woodlices would move too the most?
The chamber where it is damp and dark.
4 of 6
How does the choice chamber show us what an insects habitat is like?
if most of the insects (such as woodlice) move towards a damp/ dark place, it shows us that they live in those sort of places, like under rocks etc.
5 of 6
Why would you need to control the conditions in the choice chambers?
