1) swab working surface with disinfectant and wash your hands 2) heat inoculating loop for a few seconds(wear safety goggles) 3)unscrew cap of culture bottles and place neck into flame 4) dip inoculating loop in bottle, then replace the cap on

5) gently wipe inoculating loop across agar in petri dish 6) quickly replace petri dish and seal with clear tape. label the dish 7)heat inoculating loop in bunsen flame 8)place petri dish in incubator 9) swab working surface and wash your hands.
