What is the equation for photosynthesis?
Carbon dioxide + Water ---> Glucose + Oxygen

What is the equation for anaerobic respiration?
Glucose ---> Energy + Lactice acid

What is respiration?
The process of releasing energy from glucose, this goes on in every cell.

What does respiration do?
Allows muscles to contract, Keep the body temperature stable, Build up larger molecules

What does respiration in plants do?
Builds sugars and nitrates to build into proteins.

Oxygen and Glucose

Whats more efficient, anaerobic or aerobic respiration?
Aerobic respiration

What happens when muscle activity is increased?
More oygen and glucose needs to be supplied, so blood floes faster (higher heart rate), and breathing becomes faster.

Where is glycogen stored?
The liver and muscles have their own stores

Why do muscles use glycogen?
When all glucose is used up, glycogen is converted back into glucose to provide energy.

Lactic acid
