Blood Pressure
The force/pressure that the heart pumps blood around your body. The force exerted by circulating blood on the walls of blood vessels.

Why is blood in the arteries under pressure?
Due to the contraction of heart muscles, so that the blood reaches all parts of the body.

The blood pressure when your heart relaxes, so the pressure lowers.
