What are the three advantages of an internal skeleton over an external skeleton?
It is more flexible, it gives the body support and provides it framework, it can easily grow with the body

Blood vessels deposit calcium and phosphorus in the cartilage which eventually turns to bone. (Ossification)

It is a spongy substance that is found in some long bones, they make new blood cells.
