What is the definition of transpiration?
The process where plants absorb water through roots, and give off water vapor through the leaves.

What is the function of the large intestine?
To absorb water from indigestible food matter, and to transmit such from the body.

What is the function of the small intestine?
The digestion and absorption of nutrients and minerals from food.

Where does transpiration occur?
The roots and the leaves.

Because food is produced in the leaves due to photosynthesis.
