What happens when the blood glucose levels are too high?
Insulin is released and glucose moves from the blood into liver and muscle cells

Glucagon makes liver create glucose from glucagon. The glucose is then released into the blood

What is Type 1 diabetes?
It is when the pancreas produces little or no insulin

What is a treatment for Type 1 diabetes?
You will get insulin therapy which is where you are injected with insulin

What is Type 2 diabetes?
It is where someone becomes resistant to there own insulin

What is a treatment for Type 2 diabetes?
A carbohydrate controlled diet and regular exercise
