It is very important that the internal conditions of the body are kept within certain limits, what helps to do this?
The nervous system and hormones.

Water and ion content, as well as temperature and blood sugar level.

How is water leaving the body all the time?
Water leaves as we breathe out and sweat.

How is any excess water lost?
In the urine (produced by the kidneys).

What is also lost in sweat and urine?
Ions.

Why must we keep our temperature constant?
So that the enzymes in the body work properly or otherwise they may not.

What is sugar in the blood?
The energy source for cells.

What organ controls the level of sugar in our blood?
The pancreas.
