What is Mitosis?
The part of the cell cycle in which chromosomes in a cell nucleus are separated into two identical sets of chromosomes, and each set ends up in its own nucleus.

What is aerobic repiration?
Aerobic respiration is the form of respiration which uses oxygen. It can be summarised by this equation: glucose + oxygen → carbon dioxide + water (+ energy)

What is anerobic respiration?
Anaerobic respiration is a type of respiration that does not use oxygen. It is used when there is not enough oxygen for aerobic respiration. It can be summarised by the following equation: glucose → lactic acid (+ energy released)

What are enzymes?
a substance produced by a living organism which acts as a catalyst to bring about a specific biochemical reaction.
