What is diffusion?
Diffusion is the spreading of particles from an area of high concentration to low concentration.

Name three substances that can diffuse through a plant cell membrane and two that cannot.
oxygen, glucose and water are able to pass through the cell membrane,unlike starch and protein molecules which cannot.

name and state the functions of the three muscles in the stomach.
1) Muscular tissue- moves the stomach wall to churn up food. 2) Glandular tissue- makes the digestive juices to break down the food. 3) Epithelial tissue- a fine protective tissue which covers the inside and outside of the stomach.
